Wilbur Hot Springs is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a small team and manage repairs across buildings, pools, water systems, solar power, and infrastructure. The role blends hands-on maintenance with leadership, requiring strong organization and communication.

The position includes onsite housing, full benefits, and occasional evening support for guests. Remote setting between Williams and Clearlake offers a unique natural work environment with rugged outdoor tasks.

Qualifications

• 2 years people and project management experience.
• Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize and complete various concurrent initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in one or more trades (water, electric, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc).
• General computer skills (office, google docs, system monitoring).
• Broad knowledge of facilities (buildings, HVAC, electric, plumbing, vehicles, carpentry, etc).
• Water system operator certification preferred.
• Resourceful, resilient, adaptable, dependable with calm demeanor.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Facilities Manager (Wilbur Hot Springs - In between Williams and Clearlake)

Join our amazing team at Wilbur Hot Springs as our new Facilities Manager!! You'll oversee a small, dedicated team as we tackle repairs and projects at every level!! The facilities team is responsible for general repairs and maintenance of company vehicles, structures, pools, water systems, solar power, landscape, roads, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has a service-oriented approach and strong organization and people management skills. This is a full-time resident role which comes with onsite housing and full benefits. This position is expected to answer occasional evening calls when guests or staff are in need of immediate assistance. If you enjoy living and working in a remote, natural setting, being part of a team, and have strong general maintenance skills with expertise in one or more trades, this could be a great opportunity to join us at Wilbur!

Wilbur Hot Springs, located off Hwy 20 midway between Williams and Clearlake, is a traditional hot springs resort featuring an ancient geothermal spring, geyser, soaking and swimming pools and a 1500 acre nature preserve.
