Job summary

Wendy's in Virginia Beach is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations for restaurant locations in the Virginia Beach market. You will manage preventative maintenance, coordinate vendors, and support remodels while maintaining control of expenses and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical experience (restaurant or multi-unit preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Virginia Beach area.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market.
• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Determine when repairs should be completed internally vs. via vendors.
• Manage and track work orders using Corrigo or similar system.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance.
• Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget.
