Job summary

Wendy's in Virginia Beach is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations for restaurant locations in the Virginia Beach market.

You will lead preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, and manage basic electrical and plumbing tasks. You will also manage work orders in Corrigo and collaborate with GMs to ensure safe, compliant restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical experience in multi-unit settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Valid driver's license with local travel within the Virginia Beach area.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market.
• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.

• Decide whether repairs are done in-house or via approved vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market.
• Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for:
• HVAC systems
• Commercial refrigeration
• Kitchen equipment
• Basic electrical and plumbing systems
• Determine when repairs should be completed internally versus through approved vendors.
• Manage and track work orders using Corrigo (or similar system).
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
• Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance.
• Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget.
