Job summary

Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company seeks a skilled facilities leader to plan and oversee maintenance operations at the home office. The role requires directing complex mail services and security decisions, and managing capital expenditures for furniture and equipment.

You will lead renovation projects, verify compliance with blueprints and standards, and ensure efficient production schedules. ERM risk ownership may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to manage teams and projects.

Essential Functions

• Plan and oversee facility maintenance operations
• Provide direction and make decisions on complex matters dealing with mail services and security issues.
• Purchase or lease home office capital expenditures such as furniture, copiers, faxes, phone equipment, and mail equipment.
• Act as project manager over building renovation projects.
• Complete requisitions checks for supplies, services, and other expenditures.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risk ownership responsibilities to be conducted as assigned.
