Torrey Holistics is seeking a Facilities & EH&S Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, and related activities across three aerospace manufacturing sites in California. You will plan, direct, and optimize maintenance for machine tools, electrical systems, and facilities while enforcing EH&S standards.

The role requires 7+ years in facilities, maintenance, and EH&S within manufacturing, with leadership experience and knowledge of CMMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field required.
• 7+ years in facilities, maintenance, and EH&S within a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or highly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, prioritize, and supervise all maintenance activities for machine tools, electrical systems, buildings, and grounds.
• Organize and direct maintenance personnel for repair, modification, and preventive work.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to meet schedules and minimize disruptions.
• Maintain equipment specifications, diagrams, records, and compliance logs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors; ensure safe, on-time, budget-aligned projects.

Facilities ManagerThe Facilities & Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance, facilities, and safety-related activities across three aerospace manufacturing sites. This role ensures a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment supporting a wide range of processes including plating, chemical processing, punch press operations, heat treat, blasting, NDT inspection, CNC machining, and assembly.Essential DutiesFacilities & Maintenance ManagementPlan, schedule, prioritize, and supervise all maintenance activities involving machine tools, electrical systems, buildings, and grounds. Organize, direct, and control maintenance personnel engaged in repair, modification, and preventive maintenance work. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Coordinate maintenance activities with production and operations teams to meet manufacturing schedules and minimize disruptions. Maintain documentation including equipment specifications, diagrams, maintenance records, and compliance logs. Plan and manage facilities-related projects including equipment installation, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors; ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)Provide leadership and oversight of all EH&S programs to ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable local/state regulations. Ensure the effective implementation and execution of safety policies, procedures, and training programs across all operations, with direct support from the EH&S Specialist. Ensure proper systems are in place for the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, including chemicals used in plating and processing operations.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred. 7+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, and EH&S within a manufacturing environment. Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience. Experience in aerospace manufacturing or highly regulated industries strongly preferred. Must have knowledge of skilled trades including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and air conditioning.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of maintenance systems, industrial equipment, and facility infrastructure. In-depth understanding of EH&S regulations (OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials handling). Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
