Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager (P3) to lead a portfolio on a client account in our Technology vertical. This onsite role in Canonsburg, PA requires a strong background in facilities management, budgeting, and team leadership.

You will manage vendor relations, develop multi-year capital plans, supervise skilled trades, and ensure compliance with client standards. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience are required; certified FM credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent facilities or property management experience.
• 5+ years of facilities management or operations experience.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and related services.
• Superior client relationship management skills.
• Strong supervisory and people management skills.
• Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints.
• Experience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage all facility services in accordance with client standards and processes.
• Develop and manage facilities operating and capital budgets; track variances.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier and vendor optimization.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing facilities team.
• Coordinate operations to protect and improve asset value for the client.
• Ensure compliance with JLL and client standards in site management and operations.
• Provide monthly reporting, forecasting and asset management for all sites.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance and capital improvement plans.
• Manage third-party services including bids and insurance updates.

JLL - Facilities Manager (P3)

Transform at JLL as an integrated Facilities Manager on a client account in our Technology vertical!

Location: Canonsburg, PA 15317

Work Schedule: Onsite, M-F Flex day shift + on call 24/7

Travel Requirements: 20% primarily to East Coast sites

Reports to: Account Manager

Estimated base salary range: $91,100 - $114,000 + 10% annual salary bonus

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Proactively manage all facility services in accordance with JLL account and client standard processes and procedures, ensuring superior customer satisfaction.


• Develop and manage facilities operating and capital budgets for the assigned portfolio, proactively track variances and manage within target.


• Achieve cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and identify additional efficiency opportunities, consistent with client goals.


• Develop and manage a high performing facilities team of diverse skilled tradesmen and professionals.


• Coordinate the operational aspects of the property in a manner, which protects, maintains and improves the value of the client's assets.


• Ensure all site management and operations practices are in compliance with JLL and client standards.


• Perform monthly reporting, forecasting and asset management on all sites.


• Implement preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs.


• Develop multi-year capital improvement project plans and manage the process to complete the capital projects.


• Manage third-party vendor contracted services as required, including periodic bidding and insurance updates.


• Monitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent facilities or property management experience.


• 5+ years of facilities management or operations experience.


• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and services


• Superior client relationship management skills.


• Strong supervisory and people management skills.


• Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints.


• Experience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projects.


• Computer proficiency with MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).


• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.


• Understanding commercial leases, routine accounting methods, and trade union protocols,

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or similar professional certification


• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members and contribute to talent development
