Job Description Summary
This is a management position that will directly and indirectly supervise individuals, building staff, operations, and coordinate across the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Senior Assistant Facilities Manager drives implementation of company best practices in alignment with client goals and objectives to deliver a well-managed and maintained building.

Facilities Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations of the facility, including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and maintenance, in accordance with company policies and client directives.
  • Supervising maintenance programs for interior and exterior conditions of properties.
  • Responding promptly to maintenance and repair requests from occupants.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of site-specific documentation and reports.
  • Preparing budgets, financial reports, contracts, and expenditures related to the facilities.
  • Developing capital budgets and contributing to long-term maintenance and improvement plans.
  • Monitoring compliance with insurance, vendor agreements, and legal requirements.
  • Proactively inspecting facilities and reporting issues.
  • Hiring, training, and motivating facility personnel, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Communication, technical proficiency, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, relationship management, financial management, vendor management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in facilities management, building, business, or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in commercial or industrial real estate.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications like CFM, industry certifications recommended.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring standard office equipment use and occasional travel between properties.

Compensation: $114,750.00 - $135,000.00 based on experience and location.
