Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Calibrate is working on behalf of an esteemed Am Law 200 firm with 86 attorneys across 4 offices in New York, DC, Hartford, and San Francisco, in search of an exceptional Facilities Manager. This role is based in the firm’s New York office, with periodic travel providing the opportunity to build strong relationships across offices, drive impactful operational improvements, and shape the firm’s workplace experience. With a high-touch, client-focused culture, this position offers the chance to work closely with firm leadership, office services teams, and vendors to create seamless, well-managed office environments.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Facility Management & Security: Oversee maintenance, custodial services, security programs, safety hazard resolution, office repairs, renovations, and contract/vendor management across all firm locations.
  2. Office Operations & Space Management: Oversee office assignments, moves, visitor access, conference spaces, and supplies for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Staff Supervision & Client Services: Hire, train, and mentor facilities staff while ensuring a hospitality-focused environment and client-ready conference spaces.
  4. Safety & Budgeting: Develop safety plans, oversee emergency communications, manage budgets, and optimize facility-related costs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of general office facilities, property management, or building maintenance experience (law firm experience preferred).
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends.
  • Supervisory experience, especially managing dispersed teams.
  • Strong relationship-building with lawyers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
