Facilities Manager - NYC!

Some of what you will do:

  • Manage facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Manage/Support implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor activities.
  • Contribute to budget planning and cost control measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy management efforts.
  • Participate in facility-related project management.
  • Take ownership in developing and maintaining facility-related documentation and records.
  • Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address facility-related needs.
  • Manage work orders to ensure work orders are assigned, updated, verified, and closed out to meet agreed SLAs.
  • Support mail staff in accepting and dropping off mail packages within properties and to/from the Post Office when mail staff are on PTO or out of office for other reasons.
  • Manage ordering supplies and maintain on-site inventory levels for pantries and other facility items.
  • Assist with on-site occupancy planning and seat management ad hoc requests.
  • Manage the coordination of service requests with Landlords, Subtenants, and our Valley Clients.
  • Work with the client and JLL reps on monthly chargeback and payables processes.
  • Ensure a safe, efficient environment
  • Travel to facilities to conduct site inspections
  • Adhere to industry standards and regulations

Who we are looking for:

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between sites

Preferred

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IFMA's CFM, FMP, SFP, or other industry-recognized certifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift with on-call required 24/7 for emergency response.

Pay $100,000-125,000 depending on experience, with a 10% targeted bonus of the annual salary.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
