Together, Moss and Bedrock create a holistic environment where members can move, restore, and connect in a refined, community-focused setting.

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, housekeeping operations, safety, and technical infrastructure of Moss’s physical spaces. This role ensures that all environments are maintained to the highest standards of appearance, functionality, and safety, supporting daily operations while delivering a seamless experience for members, guests, and staff.

The Facilities Manager plays a critical hands‑on and strategic role, partnering with senior leadership to uphold Moss’s operational excellence and brand standards. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of all building systems, the coordination of maintenance and repair initiatives, and the provision of light technology and systems support to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

As a key operational leader, this role oversees third‑party vendors and contracted service providers, manages preventive maintenance programs, and ensures compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a service‑oriented, solutions‑driven approach to facilities management within a high‑end hospitality environment.

This position reports directly to the General Manager, who oversees all operational functions of Moss, including facilities, safety, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
  • Oversee and coordinate preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, sauna, and mechanical components.
  • Ensure all interior and exterior areas are clean, safe, functional, and presented to Moss brand standards.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, inspection reports, service records, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to urgent maintenance issues to minimize operational disruption.
Technical & Systems Support
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for basic IT and AV support, including troubleshooting Wi‑Fi, printers, and conference room technology.
  • Coordinate with external IT providers for escalated issues, system upgrades, and ongoing support.
  • Maintain inventory of technology equipment and support onboarding needs such as workstation setup and access permissions.
  • Support the integration, operation, and maintenance of building management systems and smart technology platforms.
Project Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute facility‑related projects, including repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and vendor communications.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with Moss’s operational and brand standards.
Vendor & Staff Management
  • Supervise maintenance, janitorial, outsourced security, and facilities support teams.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for cleaning, security, waste removal, landscaping, and other services.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain proper inventory for janitorial supplies and required tools for the housekeeping and maintenance department.
Health, Safety & Security
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and coordinate fire drills and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Maintain all required safety certifications and documentation.
  • Oversee building access systems and coordinate with security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Operations, Efficiency & Sustainability
  • Monitor facility systems and utilities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Manage facility‑related inventory and procurement of supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Implement process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness, sustainability, and long‑term asset care.
