Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and electrical systems for a government-facing facility in Gulfport, MS. You will lead a team to execute the integrated facilities plan, ensuring high availability and safety in a mission-critical environment.

Required are advanced certifications (DCM, DCEP) or approved equivalents, U.S. citizenship, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 10 years of experience managing facilities operations and maintenance in a data center or mission-critical facility, including 5 years in a management role.
• Alternative: high school diploma with 14 years of equivalent experience.
• IDCA Data Center Manager (DCM) certification or approved equivalent.
• DOE Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) across four tracks: Generalist, IT Specialist, HVAC Specialist, Electrical Specialist.

Responsibilities

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC has a potential need for a Facilities Manager to provide support for our government customer in Gulfport, MS.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Holds overall responsibility for facilities operations, facilities maintenance, and electrical operations.
• Owns the integrated facilities execution plan and resolves competing demands among continuous operations, scheduled maintenance, and project work.
• Serves as the senior authority for facility emergencies and declared events.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

• BS/BA and 10 years of experience managing facilities operations and maintenance in a data center or mission-critical facility, including 5 years in a management role, or high school diploma and 14 years of equivalent experience.
• IDCA Data Center Manager (DCM) or approved equivalent.
• DOE Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) in all four tracks: Generalist. IT Specialist, HVAC Specialist, and Electrical Specialist.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Understand the complete scope of all data center systems, processes, and infrastructure.
• Analyze complex project requirements.
• Build and lead a team with the skills to implement all data center maintenance and project requirements.
• Analyze the continuing performance of all aspects of the data center infrastructure and operations.
• Detect data center performance problem areas and suggest solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff and technicians.
• Ability to understand safety rules, and manuals for various equipment.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE

• Must be a naturalized United States citizen. Green card holders are not eligible.
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
