Valence Surface Technologies in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the onsite maintenance team and coordinate all maintenance requests. You will implement preventative maintenance, ensure safety standards are met, and work with Operations to manage budgets and capital projects.

The role requires 5+ years in facility maintenance with HVAC and electrical experience, and proficiency in basic MS Office.

Our Facilities Manager in Everett, WA will oversee the maintenance team onsite. They will be the point of contact for any and all maintenance requests.

• Evaluate, Develop and Implement Preventative Maintenance Plan for the Facility to.
• Ensure all equipment operates in accordance to safety standards.
• Lead and perform equipment related Job Safety Analysis with Operations Manager.
• Create and manage to budgets/schedules for Preventative Maintenance and Projects.
• Identify and implement cost savings measures when applicable. Prepare capital plans and budgets with GM.
• Responsible for supervising the maintenance and facilities groups.
• Manage the installation of new machines, dismantling and movement of machines, and construction of foundations for machinery.
• Manage routine preventative maintenance operations.
• Ensures compliance with the proper regulatory agencies, OSHA, EPA, EPD and other applicable agencies.
• Site point of contact for all EHS activities.
• Performs routine facility inspections and follows through with the associated action items.
• Manages the preventative action and post-accident corrective action for safety incidents.
• Maintains current SDS' on all company chemicals.
• Develops and maintains procedures necessary to handle materials in accordance with environmental policies and regulations in collaboration with Lab Manager.
• Manage maintenance lead duties in conformity with building codes, regulations, requirements and general safety and good health practices.
• Incorporate inventory control regarding preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or less
• Requires frequent speaking, standing, and walking
• Occasional grasping, reaching, and bending
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
• Sense of sound, touch, and sight

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: 5 plus years of experience in facility maintenance

Computer Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office

Other Requirements: Mechanical/Electrical Background (HVAC & Electrical Exp required)

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000 DOE

This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Persons”
