Job summary

Cleveland Botanical Garden is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the facilities and maintenance operations, reporting to the Director of Facilities. The role oversees building systems, cleanliness, work order management, vendor coordination, and safety.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency response; 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm.

Job description

Opportunity: The Facilities Manager is the primary facilities and maintenance operations lead for Cleveland Botanical Garden, reporting to the Director of Facilities. This role oversees facility cleanliness, maintenance, work order management, vendor coordination, assigned projects, staff supervision, and safe, reliable operation of building systems. The Facilities Manager participates in the CBG Site Management Team, collaborating with peer managers to ensure excellent guest, staff, rental, and event experiences, and prompt resolution of issues. Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency response work is required.
