Uline, a family-owned leading distributor of shipping and packaging materials, is seeking a Facilities Manager for its Lacey, WA warehouse campus. The role oversees 1 million square feet of facilities, driving efficiency, safety, and reliability to support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience; facilities experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, construction, fire protection, HVAC, electrical systems, data center, landscaping and CMMS.
• Evening/weekend projects and on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Facilities teams including maintenance, security, grounds and custodial.
• Collaborate with leadership on policies, procedures, long-term planning and team development.
• Plan and oversee budgets, capital expenses and projects.
• Inspect buildings, sites and equipment and address maintenance needs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and troubleshooting requests.
• Oversee vendors and contracted services.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage and develop diverse Facilities teams including maintenance, security, grounds and custodial teams.
• Work with Corporate and Branch leadership on Facilities policies, procedures, long-term planning and team development.
• Accurately plan and oversee budgets, capital expenses and projects.
• Inspect buildings, sites and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and troubleshooting requests.
• Work with vendors and oversee execution of contracted services.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience. 5+ years of facilities experience preferred.
• Experienced in plumbing, construction, fire protection, HVAC, electrical systems, data center, landscaping and Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Occasional evening and weekend projects and on-call for emergencies.
