Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a Facilities Manager in Illinois to keep the Community safe, attractive, and well maintained within the maintenance budget. The role requires 2+ years of related experience and proficiency in carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing.

You’ll perform resident room renovations, oversee preventative maintenance on all building equipment, and ensure fire and life safety systems are up to date. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience (2+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to perform resident room renovations.
• Must be familiar with fire and life safety prevention equipment.
• Required to perform preventative maintenance on all building equipment.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• The Facilities Manager ensures the Community is safe, attractive and well maintained, operating within the maintenance budget.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all building equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Oversee resident room renovations and ensure safety standards are met.
