Job summary

Ironside Human Resources is seeking a Facilities Management Director for a hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. The role is full-time and permanent, overseeing hospital facilities, satellite clinics, and building systems to meet Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.

You will lead environment of care and safety programs, coordinate maintenance, and collaborate with staff and vendors to address facility needs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of healthcare maintenance or construction experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience overseeing facility equipment and systems.
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems, boilers, hydraulic systems, building controls, electrical systems, air handlers, and regulatory standards; CHFM certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

• The Facilities Management Director will collaborate with staff, leadership, and vendors to address facility needs, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement.
  

Facilities Management Director Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of healthcare maintenance or construction experience, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience overseeing facility equipment and systems.
  
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems, boilers, hydraulic systems, building controls, electrical systems, air handlers, and TJC, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards; CHFM certification is preferred.
  
• Valid driver’s license required; healthcare engineering association membership preferred. Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
