Job summary

Synovus Financial Corp is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to support multiple locations and coordinate vendor services across a designated market in Georgia. The role emphasizes prioritized work order management, site inspections, and strong communication with the Regional Facilities Manager to uphold quality and efficiency.

You will self-perform repairs at a set of sites while developing a vendor network, dispatch external vendors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable building, electrical, and safety codes.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs dual role as a general maintenance technician at predetermined locations and acts as dispatcher for the RFM market.
• Self-performs maintenance for a set of locations and assists RFM in building a vendor network for market coverage.
• Dispatches and manages outside vendors for work orders in the designated market.
• Prioritizes and closes work orders.
• Conduct site surveys quarterly to manage quality and satisfaction.
• Assist with vendor setup in Pinnacle AP System and ensure regulatory requirements.
• Ensure vendors are properly identified on company property and coordinate site visits.
• Provide oversight and quality control of vendors’ work.
