Piedmont Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks a dependable Maintenance Assistant / Van Driver to maintain a safe, welcoming facility and transport residents to appointments and activities. You’ll perform routine repairs, groundskeeping, and assist with safety procedures.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• General maintenance and repair skills for buildings and grounds.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment (lawn mower, weed eater, blower, edger, and pressure washer).
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets facility and insurance requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the facility, equipment, and grounds.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Complete minor repairs, including painting, basic carpentry, light bulb replacement, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Monitor building systems (electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling) and address concerns.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Inspect building, grounds, safety systems per policies and regulations.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Assist with groundskeeping (mowing, trimming, debris removal, clean walkways).
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Complete daily work orders and coordinate with departments and outside providers.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Maintain maintenance records and preventive schedules.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Assist with fire drills and safety programs.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Participate in on-call coverage for emergencies.
• Van Driver Responsibilities: Safely transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Van Driver Responsibilities: Assist residents entering/exiting the vehicle with mobility support.
• Van Driver Responsibilities: Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report issues.
• Van Driver Responsibilities: Keep vehicle clean and organized.
• Van Driver Responsibilities: Maintain transportation records and communicate scheduling needs.
