Job summary

EGGER North America in Lexington, NC, is seeking Facilities Maintenance Personnel to ensure optimal facility condition and safe operations. The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs on site, supporting a production environment.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4pm, with an hourly pay range of $18.00-$20.00. Department: Materials Management and Logistics. You will work independently or with the team to minimize downtime and maintain safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience in facility or infrastructure maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform filter changes.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee contractors when in-depth repairs are necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
• Repair equipment, or structures as necessary.
• General building maintenance and repairs.
• Grounds maintenance including painting and snow removal.
• Door hardware repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
