Job summary

EGGER Retail Products GmbH in Lexington, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure mill reliability and safety. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-1pm with potential overtime. Pay ranges from $26.50 to $30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial mechanic experience required (bearing, hydraulics, pumps, gearboxes).
• Strength in troubleshooting and knowledge of lubrication principles.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License and proficiency with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mill breakdowns with area operators to resolve maintenance issues.
• Investigate root causes and recommend long-term fixes.
• Lead troubleshooting and document items in the maintenance logbook.
• Follow up on outstanding issues from previous shift and enter work requests.
• Suggest continuous improvement for troubleshooting resources.
• Install, manufacture and calibrate equipment or machinery.
• Maintain lockout certifications and perform other duties as assigned.
