Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment in Oklahoma is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Associate to perform day-to-day upkeep of our buildings, interior and exterior maintenance, painting, power washing, and landscaping while supporting carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.

This safety-sensitive role requires adherence to PPE and safety protocols; a valid driver's license is required, and applicants may be subject to drug testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of direct experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with corded and cordless power tools.
• Experience operating one- and two-person man lifts and scissor lifts.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
• Understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and PPE.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a gaming authority license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs for facility buildings, including painting interiors, exteriors, and parking lot striping.
• Assist with a wide range of trades, including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Maintain the property's appearance by performing landscaping duties like mowing and weeding.
• Perform power washing for parking lots and assist with water softener maintenance.
• Provide support during facility renovations.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and safety procedures.
• Escort vendors as needed.
