Job summary

Truck Co is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep the lot and building floors clear of debris and in orderly condition. Responsibilities include various cleaning and maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and minor repairs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability and a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.

This role is essential for ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all employees and visitors at our facility in Hampshire Township, IL.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum work areas, hallways, stairs and office space.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets, sinks, stall walls and floors.
• Maintain building by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring.

Job description

Responsible for keeping the lot and building floors clear of debris and in orderly condition. This may include but not limited to mopping and sweeping, picking up trash, removing snow, and salting the sidewalks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority)

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum work areas, hallways, stairs and office space.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets, sinks, stall walls and floors.
• Empty trash and garbage containers. Replace air filters.
• Maintain building by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Notify management concerning needed repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Clean snow and debris from sidewalks. Apply salt during wintertime.
• Mow lawn, trim shrubbery, pick up trash and care for external landscaping.
• Report to work on time, consistently work scheduled days and complete full scheduled shift.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Regular on-site attendance required as scheduled.
• Other duties are required and assigned by supervisor and management.
