Job summary

Sarnova (Mercury Medical) in Clearwater, FL seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to keep our facilities safe and functional. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks across building systems, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and grounds to support safety and business continuity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 1+ year in facilities maintenance; ability to read schematics; proficiency with MS Office and work orders; and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or certs preferred.
• 1+ year facilities maintenance, building maintenance, construction, or related experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Able to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and maintenance docs.
• Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to facility systems and interiors.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and general issues.
• Maintain exteriors including grounds, parking lots, and painting tasks.
• Install and maintain lighting systems and perform bulb replacements.
• Document maintenance work and manage work orders; coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor inventory and support safety, energy efficiency, and compliance.
• On-call coverage and occasional after-hours work as needed.
