Job summary

LCB Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to perform routine maintenance and repairs of resident residences and common areas, ensuring safety and building integrity. You will coordinate with outside contractors, assist with housekeeping tasks as needed, and help keep the grounds and interiors clean and orderly.

The role requires four+ years in maintenance, OSHA and safety awareness, high school diploma, and a valid NJ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years maintenance experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance functions and techniques; OSHA standards and fire codes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, crawl, push and stretch; move heavy furniture and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents and staff.
• Act as a point of contact for vendors performing maintenance work.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on residence equipment.
• Ensure work areas are free of hazards and comply with safety procedures.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs for exit, overhead, room call, and exterior lights.
• Assist with housekeeping/laundry duties as needed.
• Maintain grounds and maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
