Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to maintain and improve our campuses. You will inspect facilities, perform repairs, assist with renovations, troubleshoot tech issues, and handle outdoor maintenance to keep spaces safe and welcoming.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; if in recovery, a minimum of one year sobriety. Practical carpentry knowledge and the ability to solve problems and multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with building renovations/ repairs, interior and exterior (paint touch-ups, general plumbing issues).
• Assist with technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper maintenance.
