Job summary

Walmart is seeking General Maintenance Technicians in Ponchatoula, LA. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance across store equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

You will also develop preventive maintenance schedules and train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning. Ideal candidates bring maintenance experience, strong customer service, excellent time management, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules with required documentation.
