Job summary

National Bank of Arizona, a division of Zions Bancorporation, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Phoenix and Southwest Region. The role covers the corporate office in Phoenix with regional travel a few days each month, including overnight stays.

You will work with Property and Facilities Managers on inspections, vendor management, and maintenance of lighting, HVAC, and security systems while upholding safety standards and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry or related).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building inspections, bids, vendors, operations and projects.
• Maintain lighting, HVAC, life safety and security systems.

• Monitor energy usage and preventive maintenance.

Facilities Maintenance Technician - Phoenix and SW Region (AZ)

NBAZ is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join Arizona’s #1 Community Bank. We are seeking qualified candidates for our Biltmore Corporate Office in Phoenix with coverage for our Southwest Region as well. Candidates based in Phoenix will need to travel to the Southwest Region a few days each month, with overnight stays.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager as needed including building inspections, procuring bids, managing vendors, building operations, and projects.
• Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security.
• Meet with contractors as necessary, monitor work of contractors and all subcontracted work.
• Meet regularly with priority vendors like Landscaping and Janitorial. Check contract janitorial and landscape work – notify supervisor of any problems.
• Monitor utility usage and be responsible for building energy management (including but not limited to) time locks and preventive maintenance.
• Check chemical treatment systems for Boilers and Chillers.
• Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
• Repair and install new locks, prepare all necessary keys and provide keys to main office.
• Patrol building exteriors for garbage, sweep lots and walks as needed.
• Assist in roof maintenance repair work as needed.
• Maintain an inventory list of equipment and assets assigned to building/property/department.
• Errands as required, including picking up supplies at various venders as required.
• Moves equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required.
• Miscellaneous trouble shooting and problem solving.
• Majority of work will be performed inside company branches.
• Other duties as necessary.
• Hands-on training provided for the responsibilities outlined above.

Qualifications:

Requires a High School degree or equivalent, and 1+ years of maintenance work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other directly related experience.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M., 40 hrs./wk.

• Must have a current driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of operation for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, locks and keys, drive up equipment, vault doors, time locks, and bank security equipment.
• Must have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• The ability to prioritize a heavy volume of small unrelated requests from a variety of sources.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages, is preferred.
