St. Mary’s Food Bank is seeking an Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine building maintenance across campuses in Arizona. You will handle carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general upkeep while supporting the facilities team.

This role involves outdoor work, safety compliance, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ building maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, concrete, appliances, etc.
• Work schedule flexibility to include out of town, overtime, evenings, and weekends if necessary.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of wall repair and painting.
• Experience soldering copper pipe with propane torch.
• Knowledge of floor care products and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, evaporative coolers and similar warehouse equipment as well as perform minor electrical repairs.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• General working knowledge of basic construction and mechanical practices.
• Basic computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Maintain, upkeep and repair of the property and grounds.
• Periodic inspections of all units, buildings, and common areas, performing repairs as needed.
• Event set ups and tear downs.
• Completing work order requests promptly and according to company policy.
• Care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Overseeing landscaping maintenance including sprinklers, trees, shrubs and other plants.
• Keeping records regarding preventive maintenance, work orders, refurbishing, inspections, and inventories.
• Completing seasonal maintenance such as startup and shut down of EVAP coolers.
• Reporting unusual situations regarding the property or clients.
• Operate within company safety standards and policies.
• Stay knowledgeable concerning company policies.
• Know location of emergency shut off valves and sewer clean out valves.
• Cleaning and securing work areas, storage areas, tools, and equipment.
• Monitoring property to remove trash and keep stairwells clean and power washed.
