Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Hesperia, CA is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled trades in building maintenance, including painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks.

This on-site, full-time position requires responding to maintenance emergencies, repairing plumbing and fixtures, and maintaining doors, walls and safety standards while using a variety of tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Must have valid California driver's license.
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary for the job.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond immediately to emergency maintenance requests in the building.
• Repair leaky faucets, toilets, dispensers and snake clogged plumbing.
• Wall cleaning, painting, plaster and drywall when necessary.
• Repair and replace doors and windows when necessary.
• Electrical work as needed based on experience.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment for carpentry, plumbing and maintenance.
