Job summary

Pruitthealth Blythewood seeks a Full Time Maintenance Assistant to perform routine repairs and maintenance on the nursing center's physical structure. Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, safety equipment testing, and grounds upkeep.

The role involves carpentry, room preparation, and assisting with major cleaning and repair projects as scheduled, under supervisor direction. A high school diploma and hands-on maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in general facility maintenance.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance, identify basic issues, and assist with repairs.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building upkeep experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components.
• Operate tools such as drills, saws, voltmeter and pressure washer as needed.
• Test oxygen concentrators, fire alarm systems, and safety equipment.
• Paint interiors/exteriors and assist with carpentry projects.
• Maintain grounds and assist with room moves and furniture handling.
• Assist with generator testing and major cleaning projects.
• Support in compliance with regulations and safety procedures.
