Job summary

Comunilife, headquartered in New York City, seeks Maintenance Specialists for our housing facilities. This full-time position requires physical work, teamwork, and a focus on safe, clean spaces across multiple sites in New York City. Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Driver's license required for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Facility’s entrances for cleanliness and hazards (snow removal as needed).
• Complete Work Orders efficiently and thoroughly.
• Interact with clients in a respectful manner.
• Assist in fire safety and evacuation drills and training.
• Notify supervisor of unusual occurrences or rule violations.
• Perform cleaning to maintain hygiene standards throughout the building.
• Troubleshoot and repair: painting, patching, plumbing, electrical, lighting, lock repair, tile, carpentry, HVAC maintenance.
