St. Bernardines Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore City is seeking a part-time, temporary Maintenance Technician to oversee building upkeep under the Facilities Manager. The role covers electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license with <=3 points, and journey-level certification, plus 5 years in a related field. Lifting up to 100+ lbs and ladder work are required.

• Valid driver\'s license with no more than 3 points.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial or institutional experience in the identified primary field.
• Possession of journey-level certification.
• Must be able to move furniture, equipment and other materials weighing up to and more than 100lbs.; to move about within very tight spaces where large and potentially dangerous equipment is stored; to operate various types of manual and power tools and automated systems; and to ascend/descend a ladder as needed.

St. Bernardines Roman Catholic Church, located in Baltimore City, seeks candidates for a Maintenance Technician. Under general direction of the Facilities Manager, the part-time, temporary Maintenance Technician will oversee the maintenance of the building. This includes the primary fields of electrical, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing, etc. This temporary position will work 19 hours per week, and will remain active for approximately 6 weeks.

Essential Functions

• Performs basic and routine maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
• Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures and moving furniture or materials within the facilities.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than 3 current points.
• A minimum of 5 years of commercial or institutional experience in the identified primary field.
• Possession of journey-level certification.

Pay Rate: $19.00, Hourly
