Walmart Inc. is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our Owensboro, KY facilities. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment tasks while documenting work in the system and supporting store operations.

This on-site role requires physical capability, familiarity with ladders and varying temperatures, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll join a fast-paced team focused on safety, reliability, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
