Job summary

Moore County is seeking a skilled trades worker to maintain, repair, modify, install, and construct buildings and facilities and grounds. You will perform electrical, painting, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, masonry, and grounds maintenance under the supervision of the Property Management Maintenance Supervisor.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with one year of related experience and a valid North Carolina driver’s license; capable of heavy work and lifting; background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year of progressive experience in equipment repair, building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or grounds maintenance.
• Knowledge of trade practices and materials relevant to the role.
• Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, modify, install, and construct buildings and facilities and grounds.
• Perform skilled maintenance in electrical, painting, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, masonry, and ground maintenance.
• Work under supervision of the Property Management Maintenance Supervisor; may supervise helpers.
