KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, seeks a Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician to keep our facility safe, clean, and reliable. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and groundskeeping, coordinating with Engineering and Capital Projects.

Required: high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to work independently, and strong safety practices. Preferred: 1+ year in food manufacturing.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license (must be maintained).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices.
• Food manufacturing or related experience preferred (1+ year).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain buildings, roofs, siding, walls, flooring, and exterior surfaces.
• Perform interior and exterior painting projects as needed.
• Repair and patch flooring for safe walking surfaces.
• Remove snow and apply salt to roadways and walkways.
• Perform minor electrical repairs (switches, outlets, fixtures, fuses).
• Perform minor plumbing repairs (leaks, drains).
• Replace HVAC filters and clean exhaust fans.
• Coordinate quality, safety, and regulatory objectives with KanPak leadership.
• Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, lifts, and other equipment.
• Estimate time and materials for tasks.
• Work flexible hours to support facility needs.
