Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Maintenance team member to handle a broad range of building trades at our Mitchell, SD location. The role requires hands-on maintenance, preventive care, and oversight of service contractors to keep store operations running smoothly.

You will diagnose electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues, perform routine tune ups for energy conservation, and support corporate facility programs. Part-time position with benefits is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1-2 year vocational training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and broad skills in building trades.
• Willing to supervise others and contractors.
• Verifiable maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical repair, lamp changes, and light fixture installation.
• Performs plumbing repair and diagnostic capability.
• Maintains understanding of HVAC equipment and procedures.
• Performs basic mechanical repairs on equipment like tractors and pallet jacks.
• Repairs general building components and performs energy-conserving tune-ups.
• All other duties as assigned.
