Job summary

AbleLight is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance across facilities, equipment, and building systems in Minnesota. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair components using blueprints, specs, and applicable codes, ensuring uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs, with opportunities to assist on projects and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in building maintenance or related education in building systems/repair.
• Highly skilled in one or more areas of facility maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and performs preventative maintenance on facilities, structures, and equipment.
• Researches and identifies replacement parts and follows procedures for ordering.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, replaces, tests, and adjusts system components.
• Works on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems as listed.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and follows safety policies.
