Job summary

NMS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support building operations, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and follow blueprints and manuals to install and repair systems in a hotel setting.

You must have at least three years in commercial facility maintenance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade/technical school required.
• 3+ years of facility maintenance in a commercial building.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must read, write and understand English; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Performs all assigned preventative maintenance work.
• Maintains all electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Follows specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings for installation, maintenance and repair.
• Uses hand and power tools, testing devices to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Performs basic structural repairs and paints as needed.
• Maintains maintenance logs and records readings daily.
• Clears blocked drains and performs basic plumbing tasks.
• Cleans sidewalks/entrances in winter conditions.
• Follows safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions.
