Job summary

Lakemary in Olathe, KS is seeking a Facilities Support member for our Facilities Department. You will perform general maintenance, HVAC work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and grounds maintenance at our Olathe locations.

The role requires a self-starter who can work independently under general supervision. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, are at least 18, have a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of experience in custodian/maintenance, or related trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• 18+ years of age and a good driving record.
• Experience in custodian, maintenance, electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing (3+ years).
• Ability to read, interpret and work from written instructions or diagrams.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
• HVAC maintenance and minor electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, and related fixes.
• Maintain grounds, landscaping, doors, and hardware.
• Perform general labor for residential housing, buildings, and campus projects.
• Work both independently and as part of a team; adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• On-call rotation for evening and weekend maintenance emergencies.
