Job summary

Walmart Mount Pleasant, MI is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep stores safe, functional and welcoming.

You will work under the local General Maintenance Manager, employing plumbing, electrical, carpentry and equipment skills to diagnose issues, execute repairs, and maintain facilities, equipment and fixtures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using varied craft skills
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support stores
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete training to operate equipment safely
