Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician in Whitehall, MI to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities, equipment, and fixtures. The role reports to the General Maintenance Manager and requires staying on schedule, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining clean, safe, and functional store environments.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, responding to repairs, and documenting work orders while contributing to a high standard of store

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Technical certification or trade experience in plumbing, electrical, or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work orders to document repairs and respond to emergencies.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair facilities and equipment.
• Complete required safety and equipment training.
