Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is hiring a maintenance technician to inspect facility, equipment and grounds, ensuring safe, clean and functional operations daily. You’ll assist with renovations and repairs, troubleshoot technical issues, perform routine checklists, and support custodial tasks to keep the site welcoming for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior.
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
