Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to help maintain our residential treatment facility. You will inspect, repair, and renovate interior and exterior spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients and staff.

The role requires a High School diploma (or GED) and the ability to solve problems and multitask. General carpentry knowledge and practical repair skills are a must; experience in a healthcare or residential setting is a

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.)
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.)
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment
