Job summary
Meow Wolf in Houston is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support all building systems, perform regular maintenance, inspections, and coordinate with vendors to keep the exhibition site safe, welcoming, and fully functional.
The role requires hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical and plumbing, life safety, plus the ability to read MEP plans, use CMMS and CAD tools, work with cross‑functional teams, and respond calmly under pressure during events.
Qualifications
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety experience in commercial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP plans and architectural drawings.
- Proficiency with maintenance software and CAD tools; strong problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Safely maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety) and perform inspections.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support exhibitions and events.
- Enter maintenance activities in CMMS and track asset conditions.
- Support environmental initiatives and sustainable facility practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
