Job summary

Boerne ISD Maintenance is seeking a General Maintenance technician to perform routine building and facility upkeep across district sites. You will inspect, repair, and maintain structural, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems while following district procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least three years of general maintenance experience. This is a non-exempt, at-will, on-site position with local funding and immediate starting date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver License with good driving record.
• Three (3) years’ general maintenance or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of district facilities.
• Inspect building exterior and interior, playground equipment, and grounds; perform maintenance and minor repairs.
• Detect and report needed major repairs on building structures and their systems.
• Complete repairs as directed on work orders or by maintenance foreman.
• Move, install, assemble, and repair all school furniture and playground equipment as needed.
• Follow district safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
