Job summary

Victoria ISD Maintenance Department is seeking a dedicated Mechanic to maintain all district buildings and related systems. The role requires strong trouble-shooting, repair skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a school environment.

Starting immediately, the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver’s license, and at least three years of building maintenance experience. This is a full-time position with on-site work in Victoria, TX.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in upkeep and maintenance of all district buildings.
• Primary responsibilities include doors, windows, leaks, equipment repairs.
• Assist with inspections and ensure areas are clean after completion.
• Maintain records on materials and labor used.
• Inspect and maintain district-owned tools, equipment and supplies.
