Job summary

Resilience, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Ohio to read SOPs, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and document activity in the CMMS. You will inspect systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, respond to alarms, and participate in safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience with building systems, and strong communication skills. Certification or an associate degree in a technical field is desirable, with a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience maintaining facilities systems including building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers and air dryers.

Responsibilities

• Read SOPs and excerpts from technical documentation.
• Complete required training and ensure proper documentation practices.
• Perform visual inspections and troubleshoot equipment.
• Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others.
• Participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid.
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance without supervision.
• Monitor building management alarm system and respond appropriately.
