Responsibilities

• Facilities Construction & Remodel: perform skilled duties in construction, maintenance and repair of city buildings and facilities.
• Inventory Monitoring: monitor and obtain tools for ongoing projects.
• Ongoing Maintenance & Prevention: perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment; maintain boilers, pumps and utility systems.
• General Maintenance: maintain lighting, structural components, repairs and carpentry as needed.
• Plumbing: install/repair piping and fixtures; clear drain obstructions; maintain sinks and toilets.
• Carpentry: fabricate shelving, repair doors and locks; assist tradesmen.
• Safety Monitoring: monitor safety of buildings and recommend upgrades to comply with codes and regulations.
