Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across its facilities. You will handle electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, paint/building exteriors, and maintain grounds to keep properties safe and welcoming.

You will interact with staff, vendors, and clients, support office moves and events, and respond to emergencies as needed. A valid driver's license and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• High school education or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Easterseals buildings in a safe, functional, and habitable condition.
• Perform routine Electrical repairs including replacing switches and plugs, running new cables, and installing terminals.
• Plumbing repairs including unstopping drains, repairing leaks, and changing faucets.
• Carpentry tasks such as hanging shelves and repairing windows, walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Paint interior and exterior of buildings professionally.
• Maintain grounds including shrubs, trees, lawns, mulch beds, parking lots, sidewalks, gutters.
• Assist in office moves, meeting setups/breakdowns, and special events.
• Ensure safety and security of clients and staff; perform janitorial duties as needed.
• May work at other Easterseals facilities; on-call emergencies nights/weekends.
