Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking an Engineer I to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on building systems. This full-time role may include days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly wage of $28.00.

You will respond to service requests, complete work orders, and help keep facilities safe and operational under general supervision. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of commercial building maintenance,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of commercial building maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and blueprints.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders.
• Troubleshoot basic building equipment and system issues.
• Maintain clean and safe mechanical rooms and workspaces.
• Update maintenance records in the CMMS.
